Babolat Pure Drive GT

Offering a more maneuverable feel than the Plus version, the Pure Drive Roddick GT is slightly more forgiving. A better match for intermediate players as it is easier to whip around, this one still offers all the performance needed to suit tour level players. Updated with GT technology, our TW playtest crew found this racquet to offer a noticeably more solid feel thanks to the use of graphite/tungsten in its construction. From all areas of the court, this racquet offers a cutting response, especially when looking to unload on a big forehand. The maneuverable feel, powerful beam and open string pattern combines to offer excellent access to both pace and spin. Players who like to take a good rip at the ball will find this one a willing partner. When stepping inside the court, this racquet responds with pinpoint accuracy and a clean feel allowing players to finish the point with authority. At net the racquet feels rock solid with a more comfortable feel compared to its predecessor. A must demo for the 4.5+ level player looking to maximize the power and spin potential of their game.
